- Did you always want to be a model? Tell us about how you were discovered.

Modeling wasn't always my aspiration, I used to be very immersed in sports and instruments. I was in love with basketball, but my first love was the six instruments I play. One day, I was walking near Union Square Park when a random guy stopped me and asked, "Excuse me, have you already been scouted?" At the time, I thought he was a basketball scout (lol) — I had no idea you could be "scouted" for modeling. That was the first time I ever knew I had the potential. At that time, I wasn't the most self-confident, mainly due to my acne-prone skin. If that man had never stopped me, I might've never started modeling... who knows!

- What are your favorite forms of self care and why?

I enjoy yoga and meditation a lot. I believe they go hand in hand, and I specifically love going to the sauna to do either or both. Apart from that, I love a RARE slow morning in the house when there aren't early obligations. I'd brew my own herbal tea, throw on a homemade face mask, put a nice fragrance in my diffuser, and read my Bible :) This is great for decompressing my mind, body, and soul and preparing for the day/week ahead.

- What other passions do you have aside from modeling?

I enjoy acting a lot, and I still love playing basketball recreationally. Nowadays, I'm really big on creating niche-oriented content as well, specifically curated to opening people's eyes to the constructs in the industry that people don't like to expose/talk on. It's new to me, but I love being able to communicate truth in entertaining, light-hearted forms.
